Who here hasn't done that? How's this for one, I bought my first Slot-1 machine
for next to nothing, as the *store and/or tech* flashed the BIOS to a wrong -
whatever they call'em. I came a little closer to a proper flash, but it is
still a bit off. The kicker was, when I found out I'd been using the sound
driver from a wrong model number until this year, that cooked my goose. I guess
I had no need to plug a mic. into it, until it moved to moms' desk.

I know your issue is a humility one, but in the immortal words of Rodney King,
"C-C-Can't wewe we all just - just - just get along?" Sure Wayne has some
fanciful ideas at times, but so have I. That can only afflict you, if you let
it.

I know war will never stop, but I think it's conflicts like these that often
start them. Who *doesn't* know a blow-hard, that could learn to shut up,
instead of shoot off their mouth? Cripes, last week I was accused of hacking
into an x-friends company machine. He said his tech department agreed with him
too, until I asked to talk to them directly. I'll suggest, Wayne and my
blow-hard should check their ammunition, or holster their weapons, but we can't
*make* them. <Sha-G>

How about, "You do not weaken the strong, by strengthening the weak."?

I really don't want to start pointing fingers here, but I'll suggest you two
are tugging at opposite ends to the same rope. Altruistically, I can ask why
you bother to pick that rope up to begin with, but I'm sure any right minded
individual can judge things for what they are.
