 Stupid mistake and I wiped the bootloader for the Slackware partition.
 Debian remains untouched.

 I'm close to thinking about fixing the bootloader file to recover
 that partition.

 Yesteday brought some insanity in the form of the landlady 
 telling me the rent was going up $235 dollars in January.

 I'd hoped to purchase a induction hot plate and move before this happened
 as I'd anticipated this insanity.
 I told James Bradley my rent had gone up $150 as the extent of
 this insanity temporarily messed up my organic math coprocesser.

 Whose rent goes up like this in one shot anyway???
 Ah well just venting.
 I can move into a motel for this amount.

 Not what I might have thought it was than.
 I was thinking it created the initrd.img file as it currently exists
 in my root directory.

 BTW I downloaded a high definition video file and it strains my 450 MHz
 processor right at 100 percent.
 Not sure how much of this is from video processing overhead.
 Not at all sure of the improvment either as I'd need to kick up the resolution
 to 1280x1024 from its current 1024x768 before being able to see anything.

 I tried booting to the live CD but the fie wouldn't play due to the lack of 
 certain files in the ramdrive.

No rain here but a tiny bit early on, unseasonably cool but returning to 
an unseasonable 79 F. later today.
Sorry about that ;-)
