No, through his ability to recognize the good stuff Linux has to offer as
opposed to the usual postings about what some installed distribution has to
offer the typical Windows type user.  He seems far more in tuned with the
original idea of Linux then most of the posters, if not all, in this particular
echo.  There used to be more like him here but it seems that they all wised up
and left once the Windows sheeple started posting their silliness about
Mandrake installs.  Most unfortunate but I suppose it had to happen eventually.

I know how he feels.  I can relate.

I have no idea as I never buy that stuff.  I only refer to what I've heard from
the news about rebates and that only confirmed what I originally suspected
about those so-called deals.  A complete waste of money no matter if it works
out which apparently it doesn't in most cases (according to the statistics
cited by the news).

They can keep it.  I personally don't care as it isn't my concern.  They have
squat imho.  My neighbour has been kept busy with that junk lately.  At least
someone is getting the benefit without having to deal with the manufacturers of
these inferior products.

I don't use the www unless forced to.  Why not post those here if the are of
any concern to this subject?  I prefer Fido over the lousy, stinkin' web.  :-)
