 Does Compusa have stores or just mail order? They don't have one
 around here. Even Staples is either in Ann Arbor or Bowling
 Green, 40 miles either way, but not here.

 Well, the U3 drives have two partitions. One has the U3 system
 on it, the other has user software. I disabled my U3 software on
 my drive, and just use it as a flash drive. However, I didn't
 take it off, so I could re-enable it if I wanted to. For now the
 system partition doesn't even show up on the computer. If you
 needed to reformat it you could, I would imagine.

 I have two other flash drives I put Puppy Linux on. One I left
 formatted fat, the other to a linux drive. Both work fine.

 Like I believe I have said, I am just starting out with Linux,
 so I don't really know much more than that about it.

 Oh, and I have downloaded a lot of U3 software. It would not
 install on anything but the U3 flash drive. However, once
 installed, I looked into it with Ztree. Took the main file from
 each program, and looked into it as a compressed file. Turns out
 they are zipped files. I just unzipped them to full directories
 and subdirectories, and most run just fine without the U3
 system.
