Yeah and we can go back to the Ox and Yoke to plow our fields..

For those things a Fidonet Message base needs, pure text files wouldnt be
consucive for dupe checking and other needs.

There are console mode apps for linux that would work.

There is no need for you to run it if you arent going to provide access to the
echoes for others.

Really, I had everything up and running in less than a day, he is still
marvelling over mplayer.

Except the version I wanted and looked for was 1.1, the version I got via deb
is 1.1.
