You can do that with plain low ascii text. Just set it up with
ascii characters setting limits and telling the OLR where to
expect to find things. If something is not where it is expected
to be, it can bomb out.

Ok, I found an old packet in a work subdirectory. Copied it to
have a working copy. I opened it, took the message.dat, edited
 one character and saved it.

 Here's what I got.

The first one is where I opened it in SX. First I saved one
message into a text file. I went into messages.dat, and edited
it. Where it says, "seems to work ok" in the original, I changed
to read "seems to work ko". That worked fine. Seems to come out
ok. Saved that to the text file.

So, I went back to the original, opened it by just unzipping.
Did the same edit to the same message, re-zipped it. Opened that
file in SX, saved out the same message. Same change.

So, what am I supposed to be seeing? It looks like it works to
 me.

Seems to work ok, thanks!

This seems to be a good workaround, but is it also possible
to retrieve the IP of a webadress, and if a change is detected,
that the task will be ended and restarted?

Best regards,

Peter Hunt.
