What I tried to do is define a host stanza to allow
X11 forwarding to just the local LAN, "Host *.lan".
That worked when I did "ssh paddy.lan", but even though
/etc/hosts makes paddy a nickname for paddy.lan,
"ssh paddy" doesn't work.  So I removed that restricted
stanza and enabled X11 forwading for all.  I'm not sure
that increases the risk.

I do it in ~/.ssh/config so it's on a user by user basis.

.xinitrc is where I'm currently starting it, so I get X
and the tunnelled session without a local xterm overlay.
There's got to be a better way than I'm currently using.

Just the box.  I'll use her KVM.  But I'll have that 9Gig
10K rpm drive!  N'yeh, n'yeh.  Friggen Compaq board has a
USB header with the key in the wrong corner for the box's
front panel port.

Yeppers!  Three hot swappable power supplies, one already
gone south.  At around 100lbs it would make a decent boat
anchor.

I couldn't beat what Compaq already did to it!

Not the BIOS' fault.  I found the manual, and the Mfr's
board has a standard BIOS.  The problem is what Compaq
did to it!

I expect to boot off the SCSI drive.  After Compaq did
it's job, this isn't a versatile board.  I don't think
it's bootable from a thumb drive, that's not the way
Compaq sold it.

But Compaq made floppies bootable.
