I know longer even stress over learning anything about Linux.
If I need it badly enough I look it up and generally have it 
up and running in short order.

I'm a bit opinionated about stuff and don't much often apologize
for that.
One has to have other standards besides just the POSIX ones.

Yeah, I got another problem child here.
The landlady's all around apartment manager and handyman 
claims an IQ of 160 and I do not doubt it for an instant.

There goes my place in the neighborhood.
Well I look at it this way.
Now I've got someone else I can learn from.

You might be right about us being somewhat similar.
It is a frightening thought and you have my deepest sympathy but it is
nice to have someone with brains around to talk to. 

This echo is one of the last outposts for such in fidonet IMO.
Too bad so many good folk were run off.
I date the beginning of decline to the departure time of Rick Collins 
some time ago.
 
Sorry no further technical questions about Linux.
It's all rather a bit of a walk in the park for me.
Thanks for seting me right on the save to text though as there
are times I get annoyed it is too simple and not a worthy
challenge to bother to look it up.

If you may recall early on in this venture I messed up my 
boot sector and boot management and manually editing the files
restored both Debian 4.0 and Slackware 10.2 without reloading.
I was shocked it worked first time.
And that the most difficult part was finding the correct file name.
I didn't even look up how to do it but winged it by intuition.
Dang we're good!

... Now using Linux Slackware 10.2
