Yup... I will love Linux someday.... I did something the other day now I get an

error... something to do with 664 Ummmmmmmmmm some file related to my account

is being ignored because some directory is writeable ... HEHEHE...

I'm going to cool my jets a little. I was trying to get Irex to work only

because it's something I know... I figured I could work outward from a

strong beachhead possition... and no go. People in the Linux community don't

talk so highly of IRex for Linux and i want stable over interface.

I may end up using binkd... I may have it configured already in windows I

didn't do anything but answer a few questions in the setup and start it... it

didn't complain when it started... but was shocked to see no interface with it.

Here are my plans for the future...

1) I would love to get syncterm to work on my linux box ... I have no clue how

to compile or install said program.

2) Install and get familiar with binkd ... cuz its free and stable.

3) Install SBBS for linux, this may take a different version of Linux than I

have... do some research on what I need....

That's it... I want to run some dos doors and I think Deuce, the guy who codes

the linux side of SBBS... says that he has made it so that DOS games are

supported FreeBSD, I need to these requirements...

I may take you up on the offer to help setup binkd ... I may just have

questions like how do U force a poll ... things like that...

Thanx
