Actually I am unhappy with you and Maurice's performance. That's why I am
taking it up with you :)

Funny that. Nothing has been said about this. When was it said? When was
the software's name mentioned?

It seems rather vague and somewhat unfair to make accusations against anyone
or their programming skills yet not name the program. If one does not know
the program, I would think it prudent not to make any accusations without
being able to support them.

I think (and I do not speak for him) that Rob does not have enough
information to go on. If he did, I am positive, he would look into the
issue. After all, I have had him resolve an issue that I was having with a
patch in less that 24hrs. I have also seen him code something obscure on
the request of a sysop and have it availbe in short time ... (A day I
think)

He has been prompt in fixing any bugs. (And ALL software has bugs
regardless of platform. <g>)

I am sure I could change that with a single message. <g> However that is
not the purpose of this echo.

If you have another avenue of information, other than Maurice, please share.
If there truly is a problem, and there is someone actually willing to share
information, I am sure Rob would be appreciative of the information.

This not sharing of information does appear to be motivated by bias.
Especially in the case of Maurice. And that, is indeed, unfortunate.

It really is nice to see someonme that is willing to accept when they are
wrong. I wonder however, if you were unaware of this fact, if you might
not be misinformed of other "facts."

Every author has a vested interest in their software. Hardly a sturdy
argument. Most programmers are not very objective with their own software.
<g>

All in all, in this forum, it has boiled down to two people, one with a
definate bias against Rob and his software and Windows itself. This bias
is a little extreme and perhaps a little unhealthy. :)

Paul, you, on the other hand, seem much more level headed. Perhaps you
would be willing to help me find this software? I have a little more time
to spare than Rob does. Can you at least point me in a direction? A
timeframe? An echo? Something that might mention the software?

Thanks,

Robert.
