Hey Robert!

Sure it does. It works all the time. It attracted all the Windows dweebs here
didn't it? Funny they have to come to a Linux echo to get help for their
Windows BBS's. Don't you find that odd? What is wrong with the Windows BBS
echo? Possibly their SBBS messages not getting across the network due to the
hardcoded MSGID format in older DOS tossers that don't toss the so-called "new
and improved" SBBS MSGID?

Heh, heh. This is really funny.

RC> So? However, you show no interest in helping to improve things.

How so? I already pointed out the problem. I don't run any of that software,
including SBBS. The MSGID is of little consequence along with the other silly
kludges. You guys are full of it if you believe for one second this improves
anything.

 RC> Instead
RC> you act like a child and bitch and moan and insult an OS and
 RC> programmers
 RC> who use that OS.

Right. So what? It got your attention when nothing else worked. Besides I've
heard through the grapevine about how you trash administration echos.
Apparently you are not fit to stand in judgement of anyone's behavior ... are
you?

RC> Not the actions of anyone with credibility in the Linux world, nor
 RC> the
 RC> programming world.

So? Do you honestly think I care?

RC> A programmer would be more interested in solving the issue than
 RC> making
RC> unfounded accusations with any support or legitimacy.

Right. So why isn't it fixed yet?

RC> What grief? There is no grief in the programmer's world.

Shows how little you really know. I've been there. I know. If Rob is who he
thinks he is or claims to be then he knows too.

 RC> exchange
RC> of ideas and the issue is worked on. Beleive it or not, most
 RC> programmers
RC> don't have this irrational bias that you have.

Don't bet the farm on that.

RC> Er, what does SCO have to do with programmers? You rationalizations
 RC> have no
 RC> basis in reality.

Right. Another diagnosis from the "expert" eh?

RC> Fine by me. Stick in the dark ages and rot. Not my concern.

Sounds okay to me.

RC> Yes. Here we go again with an unknown. So far there still is no
 RC> evidence
RC> that this actually happened since SBBS had MSGID.

:-) Silly boy.

RC> The standard is defiecient and need to be improved. Obviously, you
 RC> don't
RC> have a clue how things are improved at all.

Neither do you. So how does SBBS's MSGID improve anything?

RC> See. You prove my point. You do not know what you are talking
 RC> about. Do
RC> come back when you get that clue.

I ain't going anywhere. I've got seniority in this echo.

RC> Unlikely. You aren't rational enough to talk about anything it
 RC> seems.

You are chock ull o' diagnostics Doctor. Where did you get your degree?

RC>>> FidoNet Standards have changed over the years to cope with differing
RC>>> technologies and to meet new challenges.

 MK>> Such as?

RC> IP connectivity. Do get a clue.

It works here great. Has for longer then you have a clue about. Without silly
kludges too. Amazing!

RC> How would you know? You haven;t the foggiest notion on what the
 RC> issue is.

MSGID.

RC> Or you are. The difference between you and Rob, is that Rob backs
 RC> his
RC> statements up with actions. All you have is hot air.

Look whose talking.

RC> But you do go on and on about it like some expert. Too bad your only
RC> experience seems to be in your mind.

:-) You'll never know.

Life is good,
Maurice
