GS-MA74GM-S2 mb which works with an AMD Athlon X2 socket AM3 CPU.  I would not
have a clue whether I am working all the cores.  I have no idea about the
driver(s) for multi-core operation others have mentioned in this thread.  The
performance presently is noticeably better than the previous ASUS K8VSE mb,
Sempron 3000+.

The simple way to get a RAID setup is to use something like the D-Link
323 or 343 NAS.  With the 343 you have up to 4 disks and can have a 
pair in RAID and the others as JBOD.

Remember RAID is NOT for backup!!
