It is an impossible mission to get each and any driver for each and any
hardware on the CD. The manufacturers are crazy as the tries to build nearly
dayly new hardware requiering new drivers. So however when you tries to install
you must know which hardware you use and which driver you needs. eCS comes with
lots of more and more modern drivers on board than WARP4 - but be sure, every
time you makes an install on new hardware one or more drivers you needs are
missing.

The next point is that not each manufactor gives the allowance to place theyr
driver on the CD - even as they may freely available through internet.

It is, because the base is OS/2. In some points it is even more secure because
security problems are fixed by IBM. eCS 1.2R is based on OS/2 WARP 4.52 FP4,
including any fixpack and single fix for iot known on end of 2005.
There are newer fixes and drivers available.

Yes and no. Most updates are free of charge, some needs the buy of the software
subscription Services.

Any, with exceptions, are hidden behind a login procedure you gets the
subscription freely after buying eCS respective the additional software
subscription.
