Yes, I think it is newer than win2k when it originally came out.  Does = MS
slipstream new drivers into the retail distributions of win2K.  Ii = bought
this win2k version in 2003, it came at SP3 level out of the box.

I think the point was that the win2k install at the text mode level = doesn't
try to provide a cdrom driver install interface in addition to = the floppy
one.

rare circumstances.  It's still uncommon and the same issue would exist = with
linux, assuming that linux even provides you the option to supply = the driver
in the middle of setup.
