My viewpoint: this ain't rocket science.   How long can it take for an
enty in a billing system to change the billing *and**routing* from one DSL
provider to another?  I mean, all that is really happening is that a router in
the central office routes my packets to a different gateway. Why does it take
10 days to change that?

Sometimes I think the phone companies make this much more difficult than it
needs to be.  Which is why I am going the extra mile to end up with a local
ISP.
