 that is really it.  a couple of differences but not hard to port once you know
what you need to port over.

i've run the cygwin version of linux that runs under windows while windows is
running.. its nice.. not as fast as i'd like it to be, but its nice to have
linux and windows running on the same box at the same time, and it can read and
write back forth to the operating system..
