What makes you think this is over, Ackerman?  John McCain and Lindsey Graham
and the rest of the chickenshit Republicans who defected on this will regret it
before this is all over.

There is no sacred right to filibuster judges, and never has been. Harry Reid
and Pelosi and the rest of the freaks on the left have been lying through their
teeth.  They claim all kinds of things, but the bottom line is that the rules
on use of the filibuster have been changed  seven times over the last 200+
years.  There has also NEVER been a filibuster of an appelate court nominee.

The Constitution says the Senate must "advise and consent" on nominees.  That
means an up or down vote.  A filibuster has nothing to do with advising or
consenting, it has to do with obstruction for purely partisan reasons.

The Democrats ran roughshod over everybody for fifty years, and most of the
judges who have been vetted are liberals.  That's why we have a 9th Circuit
that is a laughing stock.  It is the height of hypocrisy on the part of the
Democrats to start carping now that the GOP is in the majority trying to
appoint judges to restore the balance to the federal judiciary process.

But, I know all I'll get is some DNC boilerplate and a diatribe about right
wing extremists and all that.  Its your liberal stock in trade. But its more
than that, its proof positive that I'm right.
