Japan has never been held to account for what she did.  In fact, the
post-war trials emphasized only what Japan did against white people, not
against the Chinese.

To this day, they blame US for what they brought on themselves.

You may recall in '95 we had a series of WWII commemorative stamps.  One
of them was to show a mushroom cloud with the caption, "The Atomic Bomb
Ends WWII."

The Japanese threatened to make a stamp that said, "Using Atomic Bombs
is Against International Law."

That was one time I wished I was president.  I'd have ordered the Post
Office to start with "Life's Picture History of WWII" (which has some
grisly pictures of Japanese atrocities) and make a thousand stamps
depicting Japanese crimes -- like using Chinese prisoners for bayonet
dummies, executing prisoners, committing cannibalism on American
prisoners on Chichi Jima, and so on.

I'd have set the posters for those stamps up in a double line from the
entrance to the White House to the Oval Office, and called the Japanese
Ambassador in to talk about it.
