The bodies of our dead soldiers should be shown on television, and
printed in our newspapers.  Let the American people know what is really
going on in Iraq and in Afghanistan.  Let the American people know the
reality that exists for our men and women in uniform.  Pictures of
flag-draped coffins are not enough to tell the story.

At a rate of around 100 per month, or 1000 per year, there will be a
lot more soldiers coming home in body bags.  And that's not including
the thousands upon thousands of soldiers who have been maimed, and
will be maimed, as a result of the atrocities of war.

News cameras should show those vehicles being blown up, in order to
give the American people an idea of how vicious the so-called insurgency
in Iraq really is.  Show video of body parts being strewn about, for all
Americans to see.  Give Americans a real dose of reality.

The news media should also show our wounded and maimed soldiers, in
gory detail.  That is the only way Americans will begin to realize the
true horrors of war.  And while at it, the news media should also show
the bodies of dead children in Iraq.  Including dead babies.  Show all
Americans how vicious the so-called insurgency in Iraq is to Iraqis.
