Drst! Being 476 years behind in my reading, I hate usually

I with they would STOP carping and start laying our plans to extricate
ourszelves from this dangerous mess.. Saying 'you are doing it wrong' is
not exactly insightful critisism. (But it's a start...:-)

Yep. But Democrats should always keep in mind that polling numbers arev  ot
voting numbers, and theres a long way to go and the Democrats do not have
a Carl Rove (who has a fascinating history in Texas)

Y'know, this is an important point. Plato, Strauss, and Wolfowitz
(& Perle et al) believe exactly the opposite.

The "Noble lie" MUST be utilized to 'keep good order.
We are properly shocked when we find out, of course,
but every President I can think of find it 'necessary'

Worth thinking about. Plato was no dummy. Invented the word
democracy, thought was mob-rul rather than voting rights...

Always. Part of the problem (as always) is our inability to listen to them,
analyse the problem, and see if there is some alternative to 
just picking them off forever with hatred rising on both sides.

(I sound like an old man. Oops. I AM an old man :-)

It not if anymore its a matter of when. Then the civil war will
continue in ernest (With American training and quipment, the Iraqi Army
will self destruct, (One Iraqi Commander said he 'didn't trust 60% of his
men...')

What would it be if Presidnt Bush asked Congress for a declaration of war
...and immediatly imposed  the draft...(You can train a draftee in six
weeks
give him a skill in twelve more...and we could have...hell, as
many troops as North Korea!

proclaim it as the 51st state....make English the official language...
open schools to teach 'em how to become cotizens...(snap!) Ok,

I diagree. I think Bush was been misled but honistly believes
in what is not true.

...to whom the "Military Complex" that Eisenhower warned against, seems
like a good idea. The thought of Empire dosen't taste bad...

We live in interesting times. 

Het, its good to be old and retired, safely ensconsed permanently
in the most beautiful city on the planet!
