Yeah, that's why they price things at $Something.95 instead of $Something.00
because it appears to be cheaper.  Great argument.  You've effectively reduced
those deaths to something inconsequential and more for appearance's sake than
anything else.  Bravo.

So, if this war is stupid and baseless then I guess its just as stupid and
baseless to do anything or implement any measures to protect our citizens
against further attacks by terrorists, right?  I mean, after all, what the
point?  Anything we do will just piss them off even more and get more of us
killed, right?

What a joke!  You're a damn fence straddler who hasn't the courage of his
convictions, who doesn't have a clue about what it means to have to defend this
country with blood.  You don't see that military personnel are reenlisting in
record numbers to go BACK to Iraq because they feel its an important job that
needs doing, that the Army hit its quota for first time enlistees three months
ahead of schedule.  I have nothing but respect, and reverance, and pride for
those service men and women who volunteer to go in harm's way knowing they
could die, and nothing but loathing for people like you who sit back here and
pontificate on how screwed up the US is.  The fact that you can even say such
things is due to the generations of Americans soldiers who have fought and died
for this country.  You may have the rights but you damn sure aren't worthy of
them, or of those who gave them to you.
