I heard today that the kid now has a lawyer - the same one who defended
MacVeigh - representing him.  I have to wonder... If this kid is the victim,
why does he need a defense attorney?  I also have to wonder how that queer
blogger got hold of these IM's in the first place.  If this kid is as freaked
out over Foley's solicitations, why did it seem like he was an equal
participant in those activities when you read the messages?  Why would anybody
in their right mind keep such incriminating messages (which normally aren't
saved) unless there was some ulterior motive?

This whole thing stinks to high heaven, and not just because Foley was a
pervert.  There are a number of issues that the regular media doesn't seem to
want to deal with that go far beyond a simple case of child solicitation.
