It isn't direct action.  It the continued lack of support for our 
military and our mission.  That give hope and support to our enemies.

and yet most of the Arab world isn't taking up arms against us and far 
more Arabs are getting killed supporting us than fighting against us.

That can't be a primary concern.  We can't control it.  We need to do 
what we need to do in order to destroy our enemy and their will to 
fight.  Winning will send more of a message than lies and propaganda.  
It reminds me of Saddam claiming that he would prevail just as the US 
military was entering Baghdad.  The truth will always prevail.  You just 
have to be patient.

Perhaps but again, it shouldn't be a primary concern.
