That's good, you'd die.  As for the borders, while more certainly could've been
done, don't even try to say the Republicans did nothing. A bill was passed and
Bush signed it into law to build 700 miles of fence in the worst areas.  Fences
work.  The Israelis proved that.

I wouldn't be real quick to jump on Homeland Security either.  How many
attempted attacks have they thwarted since 9/11?  We don't know.  The
terrorists know, but they won't talk, and neither should we.  The evidence is,
however, that we have not been attacked in 5 years.  The best way to prevent
such attacks is to keep our methods used against the enemy secret.  We done
that in spite of the Democrats, for the most part.

You want something really concrete done?  I'll tell you what I'd do if I was
the boss.  First, give all illegals 30 days to go back to their home country on
their own.  While that is ticking, start building 15 foot fences with high tech
surveillance gear at every point practical, and deploy hard to detect sensor
gear where fences aren't practical.  At the end of the 30 days, any illegal
caught in the US is implanted with a micro transmitter and sent back across the
border.  The transmitter will allow tracking if they try to come back across. 
Arrest and prosecute any employers who uses illegal aliens as workers, with
heavy fines for the first offense, and 2-5 years in prison for 2nd offense,
each count.

In addition, fly the actual border with patrol craft equipped with miniguns and
10,000 rounds.  Shoot anyone trying to come across the border except at
designated crossing stations.

The border problem will disappear in six months or less.  But, of course, you
guys won't do that because its too harsh.  And most importantly, it would
deprive you Democrats of a source of new voters who will blindly follow the
liberal mantra.
