I'm sure it will be a while before it will be available. They do have
medications now that help quite a bit, but only in the early stages of the
disease.

I know how that is. I have a bad habit of eating only once a day and then when
I'm too lazy to cook, I do the worse thing I could do and pick up the phone and
order a pizza. I'm borderline diabetic so I should be extra careful. I do
monitor my glucose level and I have switched from drinking beverages with sugar
to those with Splenda in them. I hate the after tastes sacchurine and aspertame
have.

Sounds good. Exercise is great and swimming is one of the best ways to get
exercise.

My teeth had very thin enamel when I was growing up and I had several cavities
filled as a child. Drilling and filling isn't a cure and last year I had the
last real teeth in my mouth pulled so now I have full dentures upper and lower.
I had to have the roof of my mouth chiseled on so the upper plate would fit
right. That was a weird experience.

I can now eat steak again. :-)

That sound like a great idea. Home ownership is way better than renting.   The
sooner you can get out of an apartment and into your own home, the better.
Although, like you say, you don't want to hurry into it.

Heh heh... I'm more of a night person, but I keep odd hours. Some days I'm up
early and other nights I'm up late. I always get my sleep, though. :-)

I helped a friend move 900 miles several years ago. That was not fun. Most of
my moves have only been 5 or 6 miles. A couple were about 20 each way.

Well, early happy birthday.

I've found that the only person a temper hurts in the long run is the person
who has it. Life is too short to hold a grudge. I've seen too many friendships
ruined over trivial things.
