I don't particularly care whether liberals in the USA display the Ten
Commandments on public property or anywhere else they choose to. I do
care that they do not deceive people into believing that righteousness
comes by observing the law, or that people can enter heaven by way of
their own works of righteousness, as expressed by a number of liberals
in this echo.

However, the liberals, and anyone they are seeking to deceive, would do
well to read Acts 15, which discusses the circumcision and the keeping
of the law of Moses by converted (believing / Christian) Gentiles.

15:10 equates burdening people with the Law with tempting God, and
putting a yoke upon neck of the disciples...

15:20 lists the four things which believers are rquired to abstain from...
pollutions of idols, fornication, things strangled, and from blood.

As I say, my interest is not in the monuments of the Ten Commandments which
liberals might place on public or private property in the USA; however, I am
interested in their plans to reject the gospel of Jesus Christ, which saves
by grace through faith, and to replace it with a counterfeit, based on works,
law-keeping, spreading "liberty and freedom" while simultaneously binding
people up in rules & regulations etc etc.

I have spent quite a bit of time searching on the "Fraternal Order of Eagles"
as mentioned in the article you posted; they don't appear to have a clear
statement of purpose, constitution, etc that can be viewed on their web site -
http://www.foe.com/ - they do have a short mission statement, but little else.

Billy Ray Cyrus - http://foe.com/billyray/ - has an Eagles Public Service
Announcement, which states, among other things, "And help us fight the
enemies of freedom with fraternalism." 

The phrase "enemies of freedom" is often used by the current liberal President 
of the USA. It is reasonable to assume a likely connection between Bush and 
FOE; sure enough, a search on "Fraternal Order of Eagles" and Bush turns up
a letter from FOE to Bush congratulating him for his State of the Union Address
asking Americans to volunteer two years in the service of our neighbours and
country, speaking for its 1.1 million members, and pledging (to Bush) "our
continued partnership in obtaining our nation's goals." The full letter is

Beware of the liberals who are in the process of faking the Millennium,
replacing the gospel of Jesus Christ with "peace" and "freedom" on their
terms (at the point of their weapons of mass destruction, if need be),
and their false church and false Messiah.
