Not necessary as it's *you* who are trying to convince *me* a 
crime was committed.  I have no particular interest in trying to

It took place sixty years ago, true, but OTOH that *was* a war 
crime on a massive scale.  The defensive shooting by that Marine 
was not a crime of any sort.

If he committed a war crime -- as you've specified -- he'd be 
deserving of death.  Why waste time and energy in a trial when it 
has been SPECIFIED that he had committed a war crime?

At least one of those soldiers has been convicted and others will 
be put on trial.
