They can't. If Al Gore had become president, even with 9-11 on our heads,
he'd still have someone like Madeline Albright shuffling back and forth
between Washington and Yassar Arafat's office, begging the terrorist for
peace. Meanwhile, Americans would still be dying.


The way I see it, if we had done nothing with our Armed Forces, but had
sought peace on some level, Americans would still be getting killed.


If we had gone to war against the terrorists, American servicemen would still
be getting killed.


Either way, Americans would still be dying. Nothing would have changed,
except the name of the president of the United States.


This way at least, even though American servicemen are dying, they are also
taking terrorists out along with them. And, we have so far taken out two
terrorist, or terrorist-sponsoring governments, kicked the crap out of their
armies, and are bringin' the world around to the view that it might not be a
real good idea to screw around with America.


What it would take for America to make a real solid advance in that respect
is for several of these weak-kneed democrats to get voted out of the Congress
(both Houses), republicans voted in to take their place, a Congress that is
solidly republican with an overwhelming majority, and a rescinding of some of
these weak-kneed, bullshit policies the democrats have welded us to for the
last fifty years.
