Notice that public giving (government aid) dwarfs private giving,
even in the United States.

Overall, in regards to foreign aid, the CDI ranks the USA 19th out
of 21 for 2004.  That is an improvement from 2003, when the CDI ranked
the USA 21st out of 21.
