You must think we're really stupid.  There is only one "History Channel" which
is a copyrighted name brand by The Discovery Channel Network. There is also a
"History Channel International" that is supposedly presented in a more palatble
format for you European types.  As far as satellites go, there is no difference
in the channel just because it comes from a different bird.  There are at least
ten satellites hanging over the US that I can receive from depending on my
location.  They all carry approximately the same content, just the scheduling
is different.

As far as any other differences between those channels you see and the same
channel here, that is dependent on what your government allows. That's one of
the things that makes us better.  The government doesn't control the media
here.
