What makes you say that?  You claim to stand for something, and I just am 
asking if you walk the walk.

Okay, that isn't so bad is it?  You do something.  Do you work with some 
organization which has such a goal, or what?

That's fine.  I'm not saying that having someone move in with you is 
required.

I don't know that many rich people.  Well, some are rich by some standards, 
but they don't consider themselves rich.  This family we go see just about 
every weekend has made quite a bit telling Amoco where to drill, and he has 
invested in quite a bit of real estate.  I'm his friend of 42 or so years. 
I guess being a friend is what I do.

Why is asking what you think stupid?  I don't know you that well, but you 
come in here blowing and going.  I'm just trying to see where you stand.

The question is does it now?  If not, as I think, should it?  I say no, but 
maybe you have a good answer.  Haven't seen one yet - at least not a really 
good one, but maybe you will surprise me.

My, you seem to get excited at the least little thing.  Are you sure 
politics is for you?

I can't remember the last time I saw a Klan gathering.  Where do you find 
these gatherings?

This literature promotes a person's not being racist?  I assume that by 
anti-racist education, you mean some kind of classwork in schools.  What 
sort of thing do you promote?

If someone were to ask you why racism is bad, what would you tell them?

People like me?  Why should I have a different mind set?

Well, we serve dinner here at our house once a week.  One typical week, I 
took a picture of everyone.  The birthplaces represented were Japan, South 
Texas, Georgia, New Hampshire, Canada, South Florida, Alaska, North Dakota, 
Bulgaria, Hawaii, Mozamique, Trinidad, and New York City.

Last summer there were some nursing students living here from the Marshall 
Islands, Mexico, and Indonesia and a girl who visited most days and who I 
regularly take to the airport and pick her up is from Belize.

There were several different races in those groups.

I set up a fellow from Nigeria with two accounts on one of my Linux servers 
so that he and his students could learn how to create web pages.

I teach students from Angola, Indonesia, Camaroon, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, 
Brazil, Kenya, South Africa, Bulgaria, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Korea, 
Canada, China, Panama, Nigeria, India, and Hati as well as those from all 
over the United States.

Right now one of the guys living here is half Iraqi.

I played Santa for a group of motorcyle clubs who sponsored a toy run and 
gave toys (three trips though line each) to more than one hundred poor kids. 
I didn't need a fake beard nor a pillow. <G>

I gave several hundred dollars to a girl whose parents had split and neither 
was helping her with her education.  She needed to pay her school bill.  And 
I gave almost two hundred to a girl from Madagascar who said that her 
parents were sick and she needed some money that they couldn't provide. 
Also, I gave almost four hundred dollars to an Indonesian girl who needed 
some remedial work in preparation for a nursing test.  Also I let her drive 
my car up to Dallas every day.

My older son spent seven years in Japan teaching people to speak English. 
He married a Portuguese girl from South Africa.  He just completed a masters 
in linguistics at the University of North Texas, and wants to spend his life 
teaching English as a second language.

My younger son implements and maintains the web site for a international 
group of professional women.

But I'm a right-wing, extremist; conservative through and through.  Just 
think what I could do if I were a liberal Democrat like you. <g>  It bugs me 
that conservatives are stereotyped as heartless misers who would run down 
their mothers for a financial advantage, but we have to put up with such 
from people like you.
