DOn't know how ideological I am, but I believe in the
principles on which our country was founded, liberty.  THat
means my government can stay out of my bedroom and out of my life for the most
part.  I truly believe both major parties
are bought and paid for by those whose interest is not
liberty.

I will vote my convictions most times, as I truly believe
that to go down the road toward more repression in the name
of big oil or other interests does not serve us well.  IF we throw away those
principles of liberty for the department
of homeland security and less freedom then I root for the
revolution!  IF those are the principles of the new united
states, then let it fall, and let it fall hard.  LEt the
blood run in the streets.  I would not have my grandson lay
down his life to defend one Saudi Arabian.
I"ll vote my convictions at the ballot box most times,
because I'd rather see education than ignorance, liberty
than repression.  I"m not going to be the next guy taking up a position in a
sniper's nest, but I"ll vote my convictions
at the polling place.  BOth major parties are so busy
kissing the assses of the big money interests that there
isn't a one of them could come up with an independent
thought if you gave them until the end of the next decade.
FOr all MR. Obama's "change you can believe in" my answer is that I"ll believe
it when I see it.  Then again, if I"m
handing my self determination to the do gooders and the
social services types and the manipulators maybe I"m not
that interested in so-called change.

And, if we would give up liberty for the sake of the monied
interests, then let the United STates fall, and let the
political leaders who would sell us out reap what they've
sown.
