 No, it's really not. The only reason the corrupt continue their
 ways is they get away with it. The only way to stop them is to
 make them pay the penalty.

 Since no one has yet shown he did perjure himself, he should not
 have been.

 And more and more are realizing what a mistake it was.

 They didn't enforce equal protection, they ruled to protect
 Bush's claim to the office. It was a states rights matter
 anyway, but republicans don't really care about states rights.

 The rights of all of the Florida electorate were abandoned when
 the republican secretary of state removed tens of thousands of
 legitimate voters from the rolls.

 Florida law established procedures that started with a
 relatively small number of ballots recounted as a sample. It
 worked up from there. If a total recount was desired, all that
 was necessary was to order it.

 The supreme court ruled the criteria had to be changed, in mid
 recount. As to procedures, with republican operatives rioting in
 the hallways they had to change.

 The looser standards gave Gore a smaller advantage. Using the
 strict standards gave Gore a bigger victory.

 Any broken chads established intent. Ignoring chads gave Gore a
 bigger victory. Seems republicans left chads as much as
 democrats.

 A: Florida law said count a few, I believe it was 4 districts to
 start, to establish if there was a basis for a recount.

 So, you say they should have ignored the law?

 And Florida law said "voter intent". It was Bush who wanted to
 play games with the criteria. His mistake, the closer they came
 to his criteria the bigger Gore's lead.

 Nah, we can still impeach Bush for stealing the election.
