And why is it that, do you suppose, the moderator issues no warnings for
accusing another (rightly or wrongly) of leftist leanings? Should work both
ways, don't you think? Fair is fair, after all.

No, I don't. What is called communism is the ownership of all of worth in the
name of the "people" and controlled by an oligarchy at the top. Fascism
(Nazism) is the ownership of all of worth in the name of the "state" and
controlled by an oligarchy at the top. Not a lot to pick from there.

Karl Marx was a doofus as anyone who can both read and reason soon discovers.
But, communism is not necessarily a bad system - in a perfect world.
Unfortunately, we don't live (and never will) in such a place. So, communism
works only in small applications/groups ... until someone gets greedy.

Me? I'm a centrist. Of course the far left views my opinions as extremely
conservative and the far right calls them socialist. Dat's OK. I am secure in
who I am and where I have been and am going. I just have this innate desire to
correct obvious mistakes as I perceive them. And to call a spade a spade.
