AGreed, and part of the reason we have this is the quality of work folks can
get. Part-time no benefits.

Another factor to blame is easy credit.  Buy now, pay later, and by the time
you pay the interest and a little bit of principle there's not enough left for
food andutilities, so mom has to go to work maybe before she'd like to.

Also factor in the fear of staying out of the workplace for a parent.  You stay
out for a few years to do the job of parenting when you're ready to re-enter
the workforce nobody wants to take a chance on you due to those years of
supposed inactivity.

Yep, I haven't forgotten.  I remember sitting in that motel room when I got out
of there seeing the circus the national media was making out of it all though.

mOst folks won't pay attention though as long as the circus is on the tube and
they get their slice of WOnderbread.
