And what battlefield?
This "war on terror" is a war on a TACTIC.
By this standard, anyone turned in for bounties, political rivalries,
personal grudges, can be tortured.
And they have been.

Might as well go to the use of the red-hot pokers, since it's all right
for sadists in our military, CIA and elsewhere to already use
waterboarding, that IS torture.
And calling waterboarding only "enhanced interrogation" is governmentese
for torture, jsut like "energetic disassembly" is governmentese for
explosion.
