Not totally correct, I named myself host for 263 and left the remaining users 
under it,
e.g., 950 (Sean Rima) and 1 (Steve Homer).
I just forgot to create 2:26 again with myself as Region host or was it just a 
waste of
time and did not bother :)

I waited to see if anyone would complain but as that did not happen just left 
it as is.
In any event Sean left fairly soon after and Steve just disappeared (well I 
could not
connect to him).

I do a check every month or so to ensure that all nodes have collected their 
mail/files and
if not poll them and only then place non-connections on hold for 4 weeks 
before removal
having sent them an Email advising.

That, I think is enough.

In a nutshell if one node is left so should the country making them the host.
A shame really but that is progress (and the internet) but I must admit I do 
NOT miss the
international modem phone calls  :)


The Palma trip was taking a twin engine a/c not buying a ticket.

Same thing when my brother in law got married in Israel.
I was working (IT freelance) and could not get away but at the last minute we 
managed to
complete the project and hand it over to the users so Monday found I could go. 
When I
checked for flights London - Tel Aviv it was a 2 day delay and cost over 1200 
pounds so I
scrounged a quick single engine airplane, filled it with fuel and 2 oxygen 
bottles and flew
it to Isreal over 2 days for less than the cost of a commercial flight and got 
40+ hours
flying in (21 each way).


Nice and peaceful (excluding engine noise - good headset) and not too boring.
A lot less boring than flying a plane across the pond (from the US to the UK).
That is really boring.

Sometimes it is a nice change to fly small planes with no passengers or other 
crew to worry
about.  Yep, ok maybe NOT worry :)

Only a pilot would understand :)
