Sunshine from 06:00 to 22:00 all year long would be a bit much for us down
here.  We'd cook.  (-:  But, as you said, certain times of the yeat.

I was watching The O'Reilly Factor on the FOX News channel last night and there
was a guest on who stated that the reason gas prices are so high right now is
because some refineries are down for maintenance. (Tongue-in-cheek)
 
The oil companies don't want to invest their obscene profit margin in something
that is winding down.  And who can blame them?  Still, it's no reason to stick
it to the consumer.
