IBM ThinkPad T43 Systems
IBM ThinkPad T43 systems support the Intel Pentium M Mobile Technology
Processor, the ATI M22 video chipset, the Intel ICH6-M chipset and intel
Enhanced SpeedStep.
In addition, ThinkPad T43 systems support USB 2.0, including USB-attached
CD-RW drives, and IDE-attached CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW drives using the
UDF file system.
The following IBM OS/2 operating system versions support these ThinkPad
T43 features, when the appropriate OS/2 FixPaks and device-driver support
are applied.
* Warp 4 Convenience Pak Two Manufacturing Refresh
* Warp 4 Convenience Pak Two
* Warp 4 Convenience Pak One
For clean installs of Warp 4:
* Install your Warp 4 Convenience Pak
* Install the latest release of the OS/2 Base FixPak(XR_C004)
* Install the latest release of the OS/2 Device Driver FixPak(XR_D003)
* Install the appropriate device-driver support from the OS/2 Device
Driver Pak Online
You can access and download the above OS/2 FixPaks from the OS/2 Fixpak
Database and some National Language versions of these FixPaks are also

Information on additional OS/2 device-driver support for ThinkPad T43

* Download USB Removable Media Support to a temporary directory

o In addition, Legacy Floppy Drives must be Disabled within the
IBM BIOS Setup Utility on your ThinkPad T43 system to allow the
USB-attached CD-ROM or CD-RW drive (or other removable drive) to be
labeled as Drive A:
o The IBM BIOS Setup Utility can be accessed by pressing the
blue Access IBM button on your ThinkPad T43 keyboard as you power up the
system.
USB-Attached Floppy Diskette Drive Support
For USB-attached Floppy Diskette Drive support,
* Download USB Removable Media Support to a temporary directory
