Maul Publisher is an industrial strength desktop publisher capable of
creating virtually all of the printing seen on everyday household items.
You can use it to easily lay out newspapers, cards, books, labels, stamps,
posters, charts, forms, and even designs like building plans or furniture
arrangements.

Maul contains a huge number of sophisticated features specifically for
publishing. These include booklet printing and collation, precision bitmap
scaling, prepress reports, color management, layout guides, style sheets,
and much more. Maul is available in both German and English, and provides
true  multilingual support.

Split archive:-
You will need to download at least two of the following archives, and
unzip them into the same folder
 maulebin300.zip - the binaries
 maulelde300.zip - the german language resources
 maulelen300.zip - the english language resources
You can also unzip all of the above into the same folder and install the
lot!

 * Averaging colour capture, and full colour drag & drop support
compatible with the operating system.
 * Common stylesheets, and automatic styles. Provides the means to copy
styles between different handlers.
 * Project management tools to manage more than one file. Print a whole
project in one go!
 * Improved dialogs to speed up the workflow. Many with simplified
controls, or notebook features.
 * Enhanced bitmap functions, including smooth scaling tools.
 * Improved bitmap offlining tools work even when copying and pasting sets
of frames.
 * Offset ruler bars to allow measurements from opposite sides of facing
pages, for example.
 * Ruler bar scaling to help create CAD drawings.
 * Additional button styles, with button overlay icons. A prettier look
and feel.
 * Improvements to the handling of dropcaps, with high precision text
flow.
 * Improved printing, transparency on postscript printers.
 * Improved mailmerge.
 * New tools menu.
 * New file and text search functions.
 * New Footnotes feature.
 * New Article information feature.
 * New prepress report feature finds potential printing problems.
 * New drag & drop colour table, with support for automatic loading of
colours on startup.
 * New recursive formatting allows frame clipart to be inserted into text
as an image.
 * Improved inline image in text allows text to flow around an inline
image.
 * New anchors allow symbolic linking within a publication. Reduces the
file size.
 * Greatly improved import/export and open/save dialogs with 'All known
file types' file filter.
 * Improved sample window for import shows more information.
 * Frames can now be exported or copied as a bitmap image.
 * Frame save to catalogue tools for fast clipart saving.
 * Improved popup help tools, and other items provide an easier learning
curve for beginners.
 * Full multi-lingual support, with automatic language switching on a
per-textarticle basis.
 * Per-file style settings for offlining etc.
 * Frame paste step & repeat, create a set of labels at the touch of a
button.
 * Font embedding tool enables you to save and retrieve fonts inside the
document.
 * Table spreadsheet functions.
 * ...plus around another 250 minor changes and bug fixes.
