Well, let me guess...   I'm thinking that there's a stash of drugs hidden in
the bathroom.  It would be a bit stereotypical (musician on drugs), but the
idea does have some interesting ramifications for someone stranded on an
uncharted desert isle.  In any case, as the bathroom seems to be *the* place
to be, I'm thinking there has to be something there (and I'm thinking
Charlie didn't just tag along because he needed the exercise).

I really don't think it's been used anywhere before, unless it's really
obscure.

The most well known forms of Kryptonite are, of course, green (which weakens
Superman) and red (which, in the comics and some other continuities causes a
different strange effect each time, but in SMALLVILLE turns Clark evil all
the time).    Another well known, but rarely seen in the comics is Gold
Kryptonite, which permanent removes a Kryptonian's superpowers.   There's
also White Kryptonite, which kills all plants (Earth or Kryptonian, but not
intestinal, apparently).   Jewel Kryptonite allows Phantom Zone inhabitants
focus their telepathy into destructive effects outside the Phantom Zone.
One of the more minor, but better known forms of Kryptonite is Blue
Kryptonite, which is created using a Bizarro beam on Green K and only
affects Bizarros.

There are a few other forms such as Anti-Kryptonite (which poisons
non-superpowered Kryptonians), Kryptonite X (which gives humans and other
Earth creatures superpowers), and Slow Kryptonite (which affects Kryptonians
like Green Kryptonite, only slower, and also has similar affects on humans).
There's even been Silver Kryptonite, which was a hoax used by Superman's
friends to keep him occupied.

Of these, Green and Red Kryptonite have been the only major ones to make it
outside of comics.  I think there may have been a SUPERFRIENDS episode where
Blue Kryptonite was used and Gold Kryptonite might've played a role in one
of the Superman animated series.   Something like Kryptonite X was used in
the old George Reeves series to give Lois and Jimmy superpowers, but I don't
think it was that.  Also, the only major one in current DC Continuity is the
original green shade.

Now, doesn't that tell you more about Kryptonite than you ever wanted to
know?  :-)
