Patrick Stewart Premieres Girlfriend at Premiere

After a year-long romance, Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard) and his
new partner, 25-year-old actress Lisa Dillon, have finally appeared together in
public, according to recent entertainment reports. The couple, who met while
performing together in the Henrik Ibsen play "The Master Builder," have been
together since last October. However, given their considerable age gap of 39
years, they were wary of any adverse reaction from the public and chose to keep
things quiet until they felt the time was right. This week, at the royal
premiere of the Brit flick "Ladies in Lavender," the two finally walked the red
carpet together. Stewart was previously married to Star Trek: The Next
Generation producer Wendy Neuss.

Wil Wheaton to Speak at Macworld

Jobbing author and actor Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher), will be discussing his
popular new book "Just a Geek" when he delivers a special feature presentation
at next year's Macworld Conference & Expo. Wheaton will discuss his personal
story, as well as the joys of Web design, HTML and blogging, as he describes in
his critically-acclaimed book.

Macworld Conference & Expo runs January 10-14, 2005 at the Moscone Center in
San Francisco. Wheaton's feature presentation, "Just a Geek," will take place
on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. This ever-popular actor turned
writer will also attend a book signing after his presentation.

In his newest book Wheaton shares his deeply personal and difficult journey to
find himself, with stories that reveal an honesty and disarming humanity.
Wheaton reveals that despite his claims to fame, he was just a geek at heart.
Wheaton also recently launched an incredibly successful Web site,
wilwheaton.net, which is written and maintained by Wheaton himself. Wheaton
learned HTML, designed the site and regularly provides commentary and insight
in the form of a blog.

"This will be a unique feature presentation about Wil Wheaton's pursuit of
happiness as he went on an extended break from acting to become a writer," said
Paul Kent, conference chair. "Technology-savvy audiences around the country
have been touched by Wil's personal story - that of the "nerd-everyman,"

Jason Alexander Says "Let Bob Do It"

Popular television star Jason Alexander (Kurros in "Think Tank"), immortalized
as George Costanza in Seinfeld, returns to TV as a director and executive
producer on the high concept Nick at Night show "Let Bob Do It," according to a
recent Variety report.

Described as a "hybrid comedy," the show combines a scripted behind-the-scenes
look at the crew of an actual reality show called "Let Bob Do It." The reality
show within a reality show would involve having the titular Bob take on various
tasks as requested by audience members.

Casting is underway for the main characters, including Bob, his girlfriend and
the faux crew.

Alexander is also appearing on the CBS comedy "Listen Up," which premiered last
week.

John Fleck Joins "A Perfect Wedding"

John Fleck, known to Trek fans as Silik on Star Trek: Enterprise, is appearing
in the play "A Perfect Wedding" at the new Kirk Douglas Theater in Culver City,
California. The play, a world premiere from playwright Charles Mee, also marks
the opening of the new theater, a venue dedicated to original and experimental
works. (Fleck has a reputation for starring in alternative theater.) The play
runs until November 28.

Spiner Gives Enterprise a Boost

Brent Spiner, guesting for a three-episode arc on Star Trek: Enterprise as Dr.
Arik Soong, has helped give the ratings of the show a nice boost. Part two of
the trilogy, "Cold Station 12" has garnered the best ratings so far this year.
Among men aged 25-54, the show's Friday night slot is number one. Overall, the
show is up 68% in total viewers from the same night last year.
