 I did a quick search via google and found this link.

 It's really a shame that the computer industry didn't start out with
 Linux. I mean most computer users have invested years and years
 leaarning DOS and Windows ways and techniques. We take those years for
 granted and say Linux is hard (very hard) to use.

 But if you were just getting into computers today (I mean everyone, not
 just an individual) we would be all learning it together. Today, not
 only do we have to unlearn some of the things we learned with Windows
 we have to learn how to do things the Linux way. And just to keep in
 'fun' we have to keep some of what we learned and we don't know which
 is what in that regard.

 But I feel confident that if a user invest far short of the time it
 took to learn Windows we would have a far richer experience in the
 Linux world.

 more you will open the doors on a rich world full of surprise and
 wonder.

 As it was with DOS and then with Windows. We did it once we can do it
 again. This time with a whole lot less hardware tinkering...

 You did this once and this time you have a huge resource to help. That
 wasn't so with DOS/Windows, now was it?
