That set up works O.K. when the computer has a connection to a Router
on DSL or Broadband, or close to a Free Wi-Fi outlet.

No Router or free Wi-Fi nearby, no Ham Radio Operating ._._._ <PERIOD>

Which were You connected with? a Cat cable or Wi-Fi?

Someone I know who is wheel-chair bound bought a Tablet from Wal*Mart,
and he gave it back to them and got his refund a few days later when he
found out that Wi-Fi wasn't available everwhere around this area as he
thought it would be.

His Wi-Fi connection on the tablet worked find around his house through
his sisters Wi-Fi internet connection next door, and at one of his
nearby neighbors, but when he got over on my street he learned that no
one had a "Open" Wi-Fi signal he could use.

I don't use Wi-Fi, and aparentently the folks around my area who do
have Wi-Fi have it locked down for their own use, I know two families
on the next street have theirs locked down, because both of them have
someone living there that knows how to set their pc's up to keep other
people out.

IIRC hadn't I read that You also did a Ham Radio Demostration at a Park
one time?
You sure had to be piggy backing on someone elses internet connection
for that Demo.

I have read about a City somewhere here in the U.S.A. that was planning
on having Metro Wi-Fi, but don't know if they ever accomplished it.

TEST edit TEST edit TEST edit TEST edit TEST until the program or file
works is the only way I've been able to get it to do what I want it to
do.

Then if I couldn't get it doing what I wanted, I'd ask on the BBS for
any ideas how to do it, or call someone on the telephone for help.

Then TEST edit TEST edit TEST edit TEST ......... to get it working.

That sounds like You've learned how to TEST edit TEST edit..., didn't
You?

It's wonderful when it works the way You envisioned it to do, isn't it?
