Hi Holger,

I put the battery back in because the notebook 'rocks' because
one part of a Plastic Notebook Stand didn't have any place to touch
to hold the PC steady.

I paid 1 USD at a Dollar Tree store for the Folding, X Shaped
stand.

I'm not running the box from the UPS, I have it plugged in a
A.C. Outlet (Main), but since I put the battery back in,
a Power Failure wouldn't bother it now when the lights flicker.

The monitor I use now is a LED unit, I don't 'think' it uses much
current so I leave it connected to the UPS if ever things go
Dark around here, A.C. wise that is.

I tried running a USB cable from my UPS to the XP box for an
orderly shut down but there was some kind of problems with
Tripp Lite's PowerAlert program and my XP computer so I quit trying
to use their program..

IIRC, It had to do with when I clicked to read the Manual, Firefox
would open up with s strange file that wasn't a Tripp Lite file.

... Air conditioned environment - Do not open Windows.
