Yes, definitely.  Test it with all your external USB drives (the ones you
have with you in Florida).  Do a test image to the USB drive and then a
restore.

When the backup wizard is running, go to options.   There you can set the
compression level, verify on or off, and several other options which refer
to removable media.   Click on default and those options will be used each
time the program is run.  You certainly want to verify each image before
relying on it to restore.

You can try out the various compression levels.  I have mine set to high
which takes a bit longer but results in a smaller image taking up less
drive space on the USB Maxtor.

Be sure to read through the help file especially the part about the
various ways to backup.  If you would rather not create a new image each
time, you can use the incremental or differential options instead.  Also
read up on how to restore single files or folders.

Regards, and watch out for Santa tonight.   Don't want you to shoot down
a funny looking guy flying around in a sled with reindeer.  That wouldn't
be nice!
