Ärende: Using USB Printer as LPT1

I haven't the slightest knowledge about PCL, thanks for printing out
what the PCL abbreviation means.

I can't get SLMR or EDIT or even >prn, >lpt1 in CMD to talk to USB and
send the job to the printer.

What I use when I am desparate and want something printed when I'm using
CMD dos or a dos type program that wants to send something to a parallel
port connected printer, is to save the text by using
> \directory\filename.txt at the end of the command line and then
opening it in Notepad to print it out on the CX3810 box.

Works for me.

I've never heard about dos2usb.com, I'll have to put that on my round
tuit list of things I want to get sometime for this XP box.
