Not hiding, just busy.  This time of year it seems there's so much more 
to do.  Just got back from the church after getting it decorated (with 
lots of help) for Christmas.  We purchased a 12 foot lighted tree for 
the main sanctuary which took quite a bit of time to assemble.

Now you know why both Jeff and I recommend slip streaming SP2 into the 
original install CD. <g>  You can not do a repair on a system that has 
been updated to SP2 by using the original install CD.  It'll give you a 
warning about trying to overwrite a newer version of Windows.

Use the program I told you about (autostreamer) to make a slipstream 
install CD that includes SP2.  Then you can use the slipstreamed copy to 
do a repair install.

That's fine.  If cable is a better option for you (less expensive), then 
by all means that's the way to go.  However, since you're not living at 
Treasure Island year around, is it really worth it to have cable DSL?  
Some folks I know who spend 6 months in Florida and the remainder of the 
year up north, turn off their utilities while they're gone.  I guess you 
leave yours on all the time?

As for your Thinkpad, are you using a bus card for wireless or is it 
built in?
