Yes it does, do compression with current Radius, Argus hasn't been developed 
in awhile now.

My feeling as well, ie. that it is possibly timeouts, that causes this ...

Yeah, I just need to figure out how to have the IP-Cop box here dial-out, and 
drop the connection via a script, over the network, it has dial-on-demand 
option or manual option, dial-on-demand I will not use, possible cost 
implications are too great ...
