What about night time temps; are they above freezing?  We had a clear
but cold (mid 50s) day today.  The sun looked nice but it was slightly
chilly.

I don't think my dad liked driving in NYC; he's had to do it a number of
times.  One time was picking me up at JFK Airport on July 4; the day I
got in from my first trip to Germany.

We'll find out about the DC area this summer.  Any remote possibility
you can make it out for the picnic?

We're not looking to retire as such for a while.  Having lived there for
8 years, and visited several summers, we know we can take the
"beigeness" factor.  There's lots of places to go for good eating in the
area too. (G)

This is a desk top; again, with the trickle down, I get the older
system.  Interesting getting used to a 19" screen tho.

Sounds like a friend of mine--even a bell pepper borders on the spicy
side for her.
